Makes 36 canapes
Goats cheese has wonderful flavours and here can be used hot or cold. It makes a sublime match with Sauvignon Blanc.
Ingredients:
120g firm goats cheese
6 thin slices prosciutto
freshly ground black pepper
Pre–heat oven to 180°C. Cut goats cheese into six and six again i.e. 36 small pieces. Grind over a little black pepper. Lay prosciutto flat, cut in half along the length and then in thirds so you have six pieces per slice. Roll each piece of lightly peppered goats cheese in prosciutto. Place in pre–heated oven for 5 minutes only. Serve immediately.
