Crisp Airfryer Pork Bites

Delicious and simple these crisp airfryer pork bites are a winner as finger food or in a salad.

Ingredients

  • 750g – 1k piece boneless pork belly
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt

Spiced Orange Sauce

  • 100 ml fresh orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • ½ teaspoon Chinese five spice
  • ¼ cup golden syrup
  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Cut the pork into 4cm pieces. Place in a shallow dish in the fridge overnight to dry out (do not cover the pork with plastic wrap as it needs to dry out).
  2. Meanwhile, combine sauce ingredients.
  3. Sprinkle pork with oil and salt. Place sauce in an ovenproof dish in the airfryer basket. Place pork in, skin side up so it is not touching the sauce. Cook at 200’C for 15 minutes. Don’t overcrowd the airfryer, you will probably need to do it in two batches.
  4. Serve immediately in Chinese spoons as finger food, or delicious tossed through a salad.
